SHIPPING POLICY

At Relax in Lux, we ship premium wellness equipment directly from our trusted manufacturer partners to ensure the highest quality and fastest delivery times.

FREE SHIPPING

Free shipping is included on all orders to the contiguous United States (48 states). Shipping costs are built into the product price - what you see is what you pay at checkout.

SHIPPING LOCATIONS

• Contiguous United States (48 states): Free shipping included
• Alaska and Hawaii: not available.
• International: not available.

PROCESSING TIME VS. TRANSIT TIME

Order Processing Time: 1-3 business days
This is the time it takes us to confirm your order with our manufacturer partner and prepare it for shipment.

Transit Time (after processing):
• Small Items (under 50 lbs): 5-10 business days
• Medium Items (50-150 lbs): 1-2 weeks  
• Large Items (Massage chairs, saunas, hydrotherapy tubs): 2-6 weeks

Total delivery time = Processing Time + Transit Time

DELIVERY METHODS

STANDARD DELIVERY (CURBSIDE LTL FREIGHT)
All large items are delivered via curbside freight service. This means:
• The driver will deliver the item on a pallet to your driveway, garage, or building entrance
• The driver will NOT bring the item inside your home
• The driver will NOT go up stairs or elevators
• The driver will NOT unbox or assemble the product
• You are responsible for moving the item from the curb to its final location

PRE-SIGNATURE INSPECTION REQUIREMENT

Before signing the delivery receipt, you MUST inspect the packaging for damage:

1. Check for holes, crushed corners, tears, or visible damage to the box/pallet
2. If you see ANY damage, write "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt before signing
3. Take photos of the damage immediately
4. Contact us within 48 hours at contact@relaxinlux.com with photos

IMPORTANT: Once you sign the delivery receipt without noting damage, you are legally confirming the item arrived in perfect condition. If you sign without noting visible damage, we may be unable to file a freight claim with the carrier, and damage claims may be denied.

DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

• Someone 18+ must be available during the scheduled delivery window
• The freight company will call 24-48 hours in advance to schedule delivery
• Ensure clear access to your delivery location (measure doorways, hallways, and staircases for large items)
• Massage chairs and saunas are heavy (150-400 lbs) - plan accordingly for moving them inside

ADDRESS CHANGES & REDELIVERY FEES

• Address changes made AFTER the item has shipped will incur a re-consignment fee of $75-$150 charged by the freight carrier
• If the carrier cannot reach you to schedule delivery, storage fees may apply after 48 hours ($25-$50 per day)
• Ensure your phone number and email are correct at checkout so the freight company can contact you

UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

If a package is returned to the manufacturer due to:
• Incorrect or incomplete address
• Customer refusal of delivery
• Failed delivery attempts (customer unavailable)

You will be responsible for:
• Return shipping costs ($150-$500 depending on item size)
• Reshipment fees if you want the item re-sent
• OR a refund minus original shipping costs and a 15-25% restocking fee

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

You will receive:
• Order confirmation email immediately after purchase
• Shipping confirmation email with tracking number when your order ships (1-3 business days)
• Delivery scheduling call from the freight company 24-48 hours before delivery

CANCELLATIONS

• Full refund if cancelled within 24 hours of order placement
• After 24 hours, your order may already be with the manufacturer and cannot be cancelled
• If the item has already shipped, you must follow our return policy

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged or defective:
• Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing
• Take photos immediately
• Contact us within 48 hours at contact@relaxinlux.com or (754) 300-6161
• We will work with the manufacturer to arrange a replacement, repair, or refund
• Return shipping for damaged/defective items is covered by us
